I was walking to the bus stop today like I do everyday, but when I crossed the parking lot of the local supermarket I came across this:

That's right, thousands and thousands, maybe even millions of little green bugs.  I've tried to look them up on the Web to figure out what they are, but to no avail. The closest I could get was that I believe they are the Order Hemiptera and Family Pentatomidae, but that's the best I could do. Either way, they're related to the stinkbug, and that's not a good thing for local crops if there are this many hanging around. And now I can't get that Pearl Jam song out of my head.

  1. I noticed the same thing. They were all over the gas station in Farmington, the Frontrunner stop, and finally, my driveway. Thousands of them, covering every surface. It was pretty weird.
