RobYesterday was my birthday. I like birthdays. People give you crap just because you were born.
This year I got Spiderman 3 for the Xbox 360, 3 piano books, an Amazon gift card, a pedal that is just like a real piano pedal for my digital piano, a giant cookie, money, Uncle John’s Fast-Acting Long-Lasting Bathroom Reader, and a gun. Here is a picture of the gun I got.
It’s a Leinad Model DD, 45 Long Colt/.410 3 inch. Kind of a fun little gun. Can’t wait to go take it for a test shoot. Thanks to everyone.

That thing looks like a freaking hand cannon! What on earth are you going to shoot with that? Don't say "self defense".
I admit if you're looking for practical uses for this particular weapon, you're going to be pretty hard pressed to find any, other than it was inexpensive and it's pretty cool. The picture really makes it look a lot bigger than it is though.
What I'm going to use it for personally is I'm going to take it camping with me to kill snakes if someone get's bit, so we can take the snake in to get the proper anti-venom. This may sound like an unlikely scenario, but I've been camping more than once where someone was almost bitten by a rattlesnake of some kind. The short barrel and .410 shotgun shell option makes it ideal for killing snakes.
